Hotel was built in 1912. It's got lots of character and the room was quite large. I believe they were suits before it was turned into a hotel. The elevator is very old style with manual doors. I liked the decorative rooms and hallways. The hotel is not modern by any means but it's quite unique.

This place was amazing, old charm yet clean. The rooms were very large, living room, kitchen, plus bedroom all for under 100. The lady that checked us in was nice and charming and spent time telling us stories about the place even though we checked in late. Great location very close to two SkyTrain stations. We only spent one night but plan to be back again. Would definitely recommend.

Lots of space in rooms plus big kitchenette but.... I knew nothing about this place before check-in. Skytrain went right outside the room. Bathtub leaks water after every use. Bugs in the kitchen. No room service at all. Plus this place is surrounded by homeless people. One of these guys tried to damage my new car using a lit cigarette. Shocked that owner never told me about the minuses before check-in. A place to avoid at any cost.

A very nice historic feel wifi is weak

Bed was left ajar off the frame and my partner injured her hand fixing it, there's no attendant or service at all, the freezer is taped shut inside a super loud fridge, the toilet barely worked, bathtub porcelain peeling, there's a loud train passing by your head constantly while trying to sleep, a serious mouse infestation and dilapidated furniture from mixed periods. Place needs a hard face lift. Wifi is available but very spotty. My only plusses are that its lots of room for the money (90), the bottle of wine is a nice perk and there's parking next to a homeless shelter and free cable. But you can easily get a much nicer place, and if you're here for the antiquity it's in very rough shape, lots of duct tape.

Still one of my fav places. So much history. It's hard to not fall into the early 1900s as soon as you step into the units. Reasonably priced I would definitely say

One good thing about the place is the kitchenette. Fridge is more than big enough for your groceries, there is a stove and oven as well. If you like a historical place, you will definitely like the Arundel mansion, and by saying so, just don't expect amenities you can see in other hotels. There is no font desk nor receptionist, the elevator is so scary. If by any luck you get trap inside be prepared to stay there for hours. Cleanliness is also an issue, you can see mice running around the building.
