We had an old violin that we wanted to sell and David Segal was very helpful with that. They appraised it, made the necessary repairs and listed it for us. Once the violin was sold they promptly sent us a check and things could not have gone smoother. I'd easily recommend them to anyone who is interested in selling (or buying) a string instrument.

My 8 year old needed to size up her violin, and my 5 year old was getting her first one. Finn (the person who helped my girls select their violin) was so ridiculously patient. He took his time with each girl, let them play the instruments, touch the bows, play with the bows, until they found the perfect fit. The violins sounded beautiful, and this experience made it so exciting for my 5 year old who is a beginner. All in all, it wasn't just buying a violin, it was an experience of a life time that will hopefully stay with my daughters. Finn also let my daughters tour the repair shop, where they saw all different types of string instruments in various stages of repair. They adored it.
