I’ve been in New York for more than a decade, and I got to say it’s only been today that I have experienced the greatness of Katz’s Deli. I ordered their signature Pastrami on Rye Bread with Mustard. This bad boy is heavenly. While I was waiting for my sandwich, the meat cutter was giving me little treats of pastrami, my anticipation for the sandwich grew from there. The pastrami was soft and juicy at the same time. It was packed with great flavor worthy of praise. At that moment I knew why Katz’s is known as the King of Sandwiches.

The Deli seems to be known for it‘s pastrami sandwich, so we went and got one. We were lucky and didn‘t have to wait in the line, even tough it was around lunch time. Even though we are both good eaters, we only got one sandwich and it was more than enough! Juicy, with tons of pastrami and a delicious pickle. If you are in NYC you have to try it!!
Katz's Delicatessen , I knew this restaurant from the movie “when Harry met Sally”. That is amazing to have sandwiches with over hundred history restaurant. What I got is classic Katz’s pastrami hot sandwich. The beef is good but the price is also way
Great taste of juicy beef sandwiches! It meat portion is huge and it’s very very juicy. It’s definitely an old-fashion way to eat a sandwich like this! The pickles on the other hand were delicious, I love it!
I ordered 2 pounds of beef brisket, 1 pound of corned beef, and 1 pound of pulled pastrami. It was very tasty! However, one pound of the brisket was really good and the other pound was full of gristle and end pieces. We could only rescue less than a quarter pound of it. At 35/pound, I won't be ordering any more.
