This surprisingly was my first time ever trying a real Poke dish. Until this moment I'd only ever had cheap imitation appetizer style poke dishes at restaurants and now I was about to not only pop my own eal\ poke dish cherry, but I was going to be able to craft it all on my own. Dont get me wrong though I think the prices here are very affordable. I was a little overwhelmed though upon walking in because aside from a few pictures of what appeared to be poke dishes on their wall there wasn't much more in direction as into how this place actually worked. I saw a group of people including my friends run to a table where they began to mark off a white sheet with a washable marker that quite frankly was pointless and hard to make out when used. But thanks to my friends I was able to get the gist of how to order your own poke dish here. It would have been great if an employee could have given me some direction, since I would have felt a lot more lost had I not had some familiar faces with me there who knew about the establishment and how it worked. But the food alone makes up for every negative nuance that may have come up and some. And though I may not have received help upon arriving the employees themselves were so cheery and pleasant when I actually started to make it through the food line and addressed every question I had a smile. As a huge bonus, those dumplings that come as a side dish were so delicious I wanted to order a couple dozen just for the road. My only hope is that they open up a restaurant on the west coast and soon!
I visit this restaurant from time to time! This is my favorite place to dine. I go there many times. The food is very tasty, the team is courteous and the payment is decent. I enjoy being in this place to have a rich dinner.
