Brilliant coyrse very informative. Excellent trainer natalie
I completed my training at Fosse, fun and very informative. I have learned so much. Still working for Fosse 3 months on, it is a very flexible job and is very rewarding. I like not being stuck under one roof and the people you visit you get to know well. The first time you go off out alone can seem overwhelming if you haven't done care before. But it all falls into place and overall is easy when you know what do on each call. The weekly pay is nice, and you get a weekend off like one in 3, only if you don't say yes to overtime. There is plenty of hours to go around, i wanted part time yet i seem to do a lot more which is nice on payday each friday. You get your own work phone where your shifts and calls pop up, you must sync often especially before shifts. Because of the nature of the job things can change very quickly. Your job can range from giving medication, making food to eat, showering and dressing, changing pads and washing machine duties, house cleaning, catheter draining and night bags, urine bottle and bed pans. But most of all sometimes you are just there to give company and check on their well being and make cups of tea and wash pots. You can do so much more to help them, that's why you always say \is there anything else i can help you with\. I love my job because i like helping people, if you are just after a job and not a patient person and want to do the bare minimum to get a wage. I would say this job isn't for those types of people, one final note if you drive hopefully you have a reliable car because you will be using it alot.
Natalie is a brilliant trainer. Very informative.
