Second time been invited to a family gathering each a 70th birthday party. On both occasions 2 years apart the food at the sit down meals was good with attentive service. Nothing was too much trouble. Decor was the same both times. I doubt my wife and I will visit again - it is out of our area. I recommend you go and see for yourself.

Booked the cutler's restaurant for my mum's 80th birthday celebrations for 17 people. Excellent meal and staff so friendly and helpful and nothing to much trouble for us. The hotel and its staff are a credit to the town and we will be going back for afternoon tea as soon as we get chance. Thank you for making my mum's day so special.

Made a four night stay which I have to admit I wasn't looking forward to absolutely one to remember! The Grange is run by a small very professional team that go above and beyond. Great breakfast, and just enough variety for dinner that you won't be disappointed by any of the options at reasonable money. If you are a fan of malt whiskey it is the only place to stay in Newark. Well done!!
Had a very enjoyable one-night stay at The Grange Hotel, Newark near town centre. Friendly welcoming staff. Generous cooked breakfast. Good sized en-suite bedroom with comfortable double bed and well furnished bathroom. Highly recommended.
Cost little hotel in the old posh English style. The rooms are far from modern, but they make up for it with lots of charm. The breakfast is very good with a nice selection of options ranging from classic English to modern cereals. The bar and lounge are cosy and very nicely decorated.
