I am not from the area. I just moved here and I decided to visit this liquor store. The first time it was pleasant but the second time it wasnt-- because they had the wrong prices advertised so when the gentleman scanned my bottles of wine I seen the increase and told him about the price listed. He said they hadn't changed the prices on the shelves yet but this was the actual price. I was confused to how you can advertise one price then when I come up here it's a whole different price. Yet, he said absolutely nothing prior to charging me a different price. Like, hey I didnt get a chance to change this price yet but its actually this price do you still want it. However, he said I'll give it to you for the advertised price I said okay. Another gentleman chimed in confirming the error and that he would give it to me as the price listed. I said, okay. Thats fine. Thank you. Then, the gentleman ringing me up added, yea-- so I don't know why you are catching a attitude. This was the tipping point for me, because I didnt raise my voice nor did I catch an attitude. I only asked questions that any other person would in my situation. I'm 31 years old. I am not a child. Plus, as a black woman it is frustrating that anytime I ask a question or state anything I am labeled as if I have an attitude or the mad black woman. At that point, I said you know what sir you can keep the purchase you're beyond rude. He told me that was fine, and to not come back. Its just sad that we are in a day an age that's filled with so much toxicity and unprofessionalism. I personally, wouldnt visit this place of business again. Which, I hate to state because I am a business owner myself. Then, you could tell the other gentlemen was professional. However, there is always one seed that ruins it for everybody involved.

This is a fantastic shop with an absolutely amazing bourbon, scotch, wine, and beer collection. Very good prices also. The owner is very friendly and happy to engage in conversation if you want to learn or get suggestions. One of Gainesvilles top liquor stores!
