So I had an emergency appointment Thursday after extreme tooth pain. I had an infection deep down in the tooth into the gum. The dental practitioner injected an antibiotic in my tooth then put a temporary filling in. Without draining the infection. The next day my mouth was so swollen as if I had eaten a golf ball and severe pain in my neck I couldnt sleep or eat Even swallowing water was difficult! I have now had to go to another emergency dentist to get this sorted. Absolutely disgusted that I've had to pay twice for treatment when this should have been sorted first time round.

Absurd advice is being given over the phone by one the receptionists, I called in saying I needed an emergency appointment to fix a chipped tooth that was cutting my tongue. They told me to get a home filling kit, as a temporary solution. I said I wanted a qualified professional to do it as it was painfully cutting my tongue and I am not a qualified professional myself. They continued to deny me an appointment, keeping in mind I was also willing to pay for it. I was on hold a couple of times, it seemed like the receptionist was a bit lost.. She came back with the “dentists advice” and told me to file my own tooth with a nail file at home. The dentists at this practice must be getting qualifications at a bakery.... Next time I might as well chew rocks before I reach out for professional help.
