Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service – I have no hesitation in recommending Dean Hill and his sidekick, Tyler, for tree surgery work. Ours was a particularly difficult example, leaning at 45 degrees above a small stream and overhanging a neighbour’s shed. Removal was accomplished seemingly effortlessly and without mishap. Would certainly use Black and White again.

We had three quotations which were all similar but Dean was the most knowledgable with regard to removal of trees and shaping of others. The team were very friendly, efficient and tidy leaving just the cut logs as requested for our woodburner. Will use them again in the future.

I contacted Dean after a recommendation. Friendly telephone manner, visit arranged, work discussed, clear pricing agreed. Dean was upfront that we would have to wait a little due to workload and him awaiting a new chipper arriving, honesty appreciated ! Dean in due course rang to arrange a date then again to cancel due to extreme weather, again ensuring we were happy and informed. On the day of the works he arrived with two colleagues. Very professional, proper safety kit etc. A tidy job made of cutting several hedges and removing some overhanging tree branches too. Dean also made some useful suggestions in general re adding a vine in the garden. Good work, would recommend and will hire again.

Dean and team, amazing job! After storm damage we called them to help with a tree fallen over and into the Mill Stream, no other company would touch it. Dean and his team have worked tirelessly to remove the tree in rain and mud. They have cleared all debris from the water we can't thank you enough for taking on the job no one else would do. A1 team, always kept us informed. Highly recommended for the normal and the not so normal!! tree work eternally grateful.
