John Lewis is the best store in parkway! I brought a nespresso coffee machine and was looking at apple laptops and the friendly staff help with all of my quires.
TAKE GREAT CARE. John Lewis is not what it was. My family have been put through an horrendous debacle having bought a product recommended by a salesperson only to find out at home it didn't work in the way we were assured it would. The store did absolutely nothing to even try and help us and the Managing Director's office have told us in writing that the salesperson cannot be accountable for advice given. In their view they can say what they want to convince you to buy something then turn round afterwards and say it's the consumer's responsibility. The story continues, but I so wish we had bought from Amazon rather than put our trust in John Lewis.
The staff here seem to be dressed for a trip to the gym with scruffy white tee shirts and trainers. No knowledge about products, no stock control with shelves Left empty and staff saying that the system is all wrong. Many staff standing around chatting. We spoke with a manager who smirked and thought it was all funny. As I see it John Lewis you seem to be struggling, Your staff couldn’t care less. We won’t be shopping with you again.

Faultless store as you all know. However, we had their home design service and Jo was our personal designer who has been amazing for the entire process. These 5 stars go to her and i trust JL can pass them on :-)
I am done with the JLP partnership after my experience today. The sales assistants all looked like they were going to a workout class (in t-shirts and trainers). Most were standing around, chatting among themselves and not helping anyone. They did not have the items in stock we needed (even though when the assistant checked for us, he said there were 6). When we pointed out all the above to Hannah, the manager on duty, she was dismissive and appeared to find the whole situation amusing. Very disappointing and if this is the new approach to their business, I cannot see many sticking with them.
Walked into John Lewis today looking for Christmas tea towels. I spotted a guy called Jamie pushing a trolley and asked him if you had any. He moved his trolley to one side and walked me through the shop to where the tea towels were. Very helpful and polite, its people like him that give the shop a good reputation.
