These are well appointed park areas with a children's play area, a cricket pitch and clubhouse. The Nothcroft Leisure Centre is located at one end of the park with a good range of facilities. The paths give access to the Kennet and Avon Canal leading into Newbury town centre. In addition as these parks are in the centre of Newbury they provide a valuable open space to escape from the central shopping area. Lovely place to visit with many trees and open spaces.

View at the top of the hill is better now since its cleaner. Bins are not overflowing. No groups of people drinking. It was just peaceful at mid afternoon. Enjoy your walk, run or cycle up and down this hill. Sit on the bench for ten minutes and rest and enjoy that view.
