Took car in for service. Owner informed of additional work that needed to be done. Given the go ahead. Then car came back with additional grinding/creaking noise after service, which wasn’t there before. Informed the garage - they sent two people out to drive the car who both denied any noises. Took the car back to show them the noise - they then claimed that the noise was there before I took it in. They claimed they didn’t mention it because they assumed that I was aware of the noise. They were going to charge me an additional hour’s Labour just to find the source of the noise. I then took it to Quick Fit who were able to do a diagnostic for free. Overall poor service, intentionally deceived/omitted certain information and became very defensive/denied any fault when questioned.

Purchased a car prior to lockdown from Speen Garage, which subsequently developed a fault. Without any hesitation they agreed to a full repair at their cost, no quibbling or referencing to the warranty booklet. Not only was the repair done satisfactorily, it was done in short order. I tip my hat to this garage, this was a fairly costly fault they could have easily palmed off. I hope this review helps give perspective customers full confidence. This is an honourable, straight talking and professionally run car dealership and one I fully recommend.
