I went to Tesco last Saturday, 16th Jan. After receiving an email to say only 1 person to shop unless a carer or with children and to wear a face mask. I saw so many couples and families together. I understand if a single parent with children under a certain age has no choice or if someone suffers social anxiety needs support. But to send these emails out and to not have anyone take any notice, who isnt in need, is a bit silly. Also lots of shelves in the veg department were empty. The frozen veg also seems to be sparse. The use by dates for a lot of the colelsaw, hummus, dips, cooked meats, bread etc were for 2/3 days time, so went away without things i wanted. Also, staff not wearing their masks properly, across the mouth and under their nose, thats not how you wear a mask. Usually i like Tesco, but im slowly going off wanting to shop there. And cant do click or collect or delivery or flexi because their next availability isnt until second week of February.

It's Tesco don't you know. Recommend getting the club card app, quite a few offers (gin, whisky, my kind of offers)...
Tesco in Newbury is currently out of control. I went this afternoon for a quick shop and there were families of 4-6 people doing their shopping. We are still going through a pandemic so a full household does not need to go shopping together. Due to this there was no social distancing.... I felt unsafe for the first time in months !
