I frequent this special restaurant once a month as I like the special atmosphere that is outline this restaurant. The crew is extraordianrillyremarkably attentive and professional. The service is certainly quick. Also, the food they cook is excellent. I frequent more than once and I was always delighted. The rate is modest. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

Amazing pie! Great little place with warm atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. Also, the pie, it's incredibly tasty! Had the festive version of the Moo pie, the Mistle Moo. Highly recommended. Very reasonably priced too.

Really love it here. Food is always so delicious and hearty. Especially love the Sunday buffet. Pick your pie then help yourself to ALL the trimmings. With tonnes of vegan options too. Beer is well kept. Gin bar outside... What's not to love

Amazing pub with the most traditional English cuisine and local beer. The meals we ordered were delicious! And desserts too. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is nice. Would love to come again and would recommend visiting.

You may find comfort food and pie in a lot of places but very rarely do you find food that comforts not only your stomach but also your soul. I could feel happiness sinking in with every bite of the delicious pie and though the food is over I'm left wanting more and more and more. Be back soon for some more mouth watering and heart warming pie. The place is cozy, a bit cramped up but the food makes up for the logistics. The staff is polite and welcoming. The food menu provides a good amount of options and the prices are nothing outrageous. The location is very convenient and you can walk right in after an exhausting day. There's a smoking zone here as well with a wide selection of beers and ales. All in all a must visit place.

The Sunday Pie Roast is great value; you choose a pie (or you can have lamb shank) which come with a Yorkshire. Then you can fill your plate with as much veg as you like...as many times as you can muster. All for 10.95. Beer, cider and gin selection is the best I have found locally, especially from the perspective of having all 3 under the same roof. A great selection of both local, British and world options. A really relaxed town centre pub, worthy of a visit
