Great way to spend a few hours, especially for big kids who have some free time with child at nursery! My wife and I went on a Monday morning, so it was nice and quiet. I would recommend the hot chocolate which was delicious. The blueberry muffin and honeycomb Tiffin were equally worthy of a visit. With a dragon, a Tree shaped plate, 2 hot drinks and cakes, washed down with a smoothy, you don't get much change from 50. So, not cheap, but for 3hrs of relaxation it was worth it! Currently there is a 1 week wait until the items can be collected post-firing. Looking forward to the results...

Such a fab place to visit; friendly staff who are very talented, great customer service, a wide range of pottery pieces and tasty hot chocolate! I've been a few times and it is a great place to spend a few hours.

The ugly duckling is an amazing place to visit. Emma, the owner is so clearly proud of her business. She really does go above and beyond at any opportunity. It's wonderful to see it move from strength to strength even in this uncertain time. Every single employee is super friendly and professional. To name just a few qualities: there is a wide variety of pottery to paint with an ever changing seasonal range too, no studio fee, delicious food and drink, inspiration books to look through if you're stuck for ideas, and hosts occasional adult nights. The ugly duckling is child and disability friendly, making everyone feel so welcome. Definitely recommend anyone booking a table. Whether you're a painter or not there's so much fun to be had.

Newish pottery shop where you can decorate your own pieces, have a coffee and a cookie. Add it's relatively new its very clean inside, there's a wide assortment of ceramic pieces you can decorate and anyone who has been to the pottery place that used to be in thatcham garden centre area will be familiar with the setup. They also host children's parties, sell coffee, tea, brownies, cookies, and ice creams.
