Fantastic pub with a great menu, and good prices, great value for money (especially with the generous portion sizes)! Friendly and helpful staff, and an extremely welcoming landlord. The pub has a cosy atmosphere all year round, and is well worth a visit!

Such a change! We live just round the corner and barely go there for food because the only few times we went over the past few years it was a ver low quality between food, cleanliness, and service. I don't know what s happened but it works. Keep up the amazing work :)
Booking was mixed up so we had to wait for tables to be sorted. Orders weren't as we expected. Two had to be taken back and redone. The pudding s were fine but don't ask for the Roly poly it was hard as a rock. All forgiven though as it's been a tough year all round.
Nice pub grub. If you like chicken, this is (was) the place to go. The half chicken is still on their covid reduced menu. Nice and filling, tasty too. Seasonal veg... Frozen peas, carrots and broccoli... Hmmm. Could of done with another minute cooking as still edging more on raw side than al dente. Overall was a good lunch out.
Had a family meal and upon entry was welcomed by a female staff member who ensured our order was to our requirements. Drinks and food arrived in good time and I have to say the service and food was 10 out 10. Well done to the team at the Two Watermills.
Excellent. First trip out from lockdown. Wonderful greeting at the door from a (manager?) who explained the procedures and protocols. Hand gel by the door and a Q code for track and trace. Orders were taken at the more than appropriate social distancing by an attentive and happy young guy who answered all our questions and returned with all the drinks and hot, tasty and excellent food. The whole experience was really good and I can wholeheartedly recommend the location, service and quality of food.
Visiting from Liverpool. Had a great meal. Staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Had the nachos and the beef and ale pie, which was part of a reduced menu due to covid. Both delicious and huge portions. Would definitely visit again.
Having spent some time yesterday looking for somewhere to eat we drove past and thought let’s try here. The place was clean and socially distanced. We were shown to a table and ordered our food. The service was quick and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Chicken burger and ham egg and chips for two very hungry people. Great chips would come here again in preference to some of the pretentious pubs in town
