It’s indeed the pride place at Newbury. It’s centrally located, very well maintained, blessed with lush greenery. Highly recommend for children. Has lots of children play area, wooden benches to relax peacefully. It also has a statue of Queen Victoria. I love walking , taking stroll at this park. It’s huge. For first time ever I saw real SWANS in my life at Victoria park, near riverside are. I was on top of the world to see the bright white beauties. This park is good for exercise, cycling, jogging, for children, for elderly people to take a walk. It also has a huge tennis court. You would see lots of people especially on Weekend , Holidays and on Bright & Sunny day.

Victoria park is a great place for families. Also have the barges on the canal that you can walk along.
A really nice and pleasant place to go for a walk, lots of open spaces and benches to sit in the grass and enjoy watching the world go bye. There is a little boat lake which in the summer you can hire a pedalo and boat about. There is also a skate park. There is a fair bit of road noise, but it is nice enough!
A very welcome green space in the centre of Newbury, with a children's play park incorporating a good range of equipment. The splash pool is very popular. Also the park has a music grandstand, tennis courts, bowls club and outdoor gym equipment. Unfortunately the park is adjacent to the A339 dual carriageway, adding noise and pollution. Overall the park is popular and well used with one end adjoining the Kennet and Avon canal, with walks towards Thatcham and through Newbury.
Well Maintained Excellent pavement for walking and running State of the art infra Quite green and fresh feeling
