The book shop is well laid out with popular books prominently displayed. In addition the staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the cafe has now closed and replaced by book displays, which is a loss to the ambience and feel of the bookshop. I would recommend this shop.

Lovely place to have cake and a coffee. Great friendly service. Nice change from the usual chains.
What a lovely place to spend an hour. Helpful staff and a incredibly tempting to buy so many books you'd need a wheelbarrow to get them home. It's shopping like it should be. No awful piped music, tacky displays or distractions.
The shop was good no staff to give assistance only person on till very long queue to back of shop
Great book store. Flat white & a ham & cheese on Sourdough Toastie nice..had a great Honey buns Dark Chocolate & Orange Brownie has the great taste award and rightly so was yummy

Its agreat bookshop with friendly staff and a good selection of books and more. The gifts, cards and paper are awesome and the ambiance of the store is really good.
