Scam Artists!!!!! Beware! *** UPDATE in response to your reply: You know who I am, if you wanted to help, you would. LOL @ your copy-paste response here. *** Rented a car from them recently, drove it to work and back a few times, then when I returned it, they tried to tell me that I GOT IN AN ACCIDENT AND MESSED UP THE ALIGNMENT and \broke a splash guard\! This absolutely was not caused by my light usage of this rental car. It is clearly a wear and tear issue, that they are trying to put on me. They are charging me over 300 in addition to a claim with my insurance, causing my insurance to go up by 500 per year. It was driving weird when I got it, but not being used to a ew\ car, I figured this is just how it drove and didn't think about it more since it was just a rental. There was absolutely nothing that happened on our end, and these guys COMPLETELY TOOK ADVANTAGE of the fact that we had no \proof\ that the car was or was not like this before we rented it. I have been on the phone with Enterprise and my insurance company for over 20 hours now since this happened, and have paid over 1000 in total for this issue that was NOT caused by me at all. The only way to get my money back will be to take them to court - clearly not worth it. Never using these guys again. Complete scam artists. Stay far away. Go to Hertz or Bargain. Call an Uber. I'll pick you up if you need a ride. Save your money and sanity and use any other service besides Enterprise in Newburyport.

They had no vehicle to rent at all...
I needed to drive one way from Newburyport to NY, & they told me last minute that they require a 200 deposit because my driver’s license is out of state. I took Amtrak instead for a lot less - it was way more than convenient, and easier than jumping through a bunch of hoops to get a rental from this place.
The experience was the best due to one employee. Dan. His phone work and in store professionalism was superior
My recent experience with Enterprise Rent-a-Car was my poorest experience in my long history with Enterprise. Before I went to the closest location a made a reservation for a car. i ended up making a reservation for a SUV although i only wanted a sedan. Once I got to the location the reservation I had made was not in the system and I was required to stay outside on a very hot day and remake the reservation.. this was a response to the Covid-19 and Enterprise's need to protect it's employees. While very frustrating for me and being mad about the previous failure to make a reservation this was understandable. Once again I was told that only SUV was availalbe but once the reservation was made the location was able to put me into a sedan. The trip was very expensive because it was one way and there was a significant charge for it being one way. This was not explained to me, and I was surprised to see this on my bill. Also I was not offered a transponder to pay for tolls even though the rental was for a trip from Massachusetts to North Carolina. I mistakenly thought that the camera for the driver assistance system was a transponder. Oops! My return of the car was absolutely seamless. I was disappointed with this experience but my much better experiences with Enterprise will mean I will continue to be a customer.
