I am not sure why others gave good ratings. First off, the lighthouse is small, about 8ft diameter so don't let the pictures fool you, it is cramped up in there. Bathroom is obviously outside. Next, the email I got prior to the reservation said to call the light house preservation (LHP) and pick the menu items to make sure you have your choices available. When I called LHP, they said you don't need to pick menu items ahead of time. Got there and met the waiter, kind man. Chatted a bit, we picked appetizers. Then he told me afterwards when he was bringing the food up that my choice for appetizer wasn't available and what annoyed me was he did not ask me if I had a second choice. He went on to ask for main entree options. We gave it and then when it came time for dessert he said sorry, only the orange cake is available and restaurant is about to close. Not even a menu card explaining what's in it. So we didn't get dessert either. This was pre-paid to be a 3 course meal and I did not get it. He even gave the bill to us at the end, we had to tell him it was pre-paid. Overall not satisfied with it, won't be going back. If it was paid to be a 3 course meal, it should be honored, no excuses. Also when asking about the bathroom situation he confidently said there is a bar that is open late so not to worry. At around 10 at the end of the night, the tone changed to, "oh let me see if the bar is still open since it's late" thank god it was!. Just be cautious of this when booking.

Beautiful place to have a meal with the people you love. I took my fiancée here after we got engaged to celebrate. The caretaker/waiter is a great guy. Absolutely wonderful experience!

The place could use some updating. Do not get the food from the restaurant associated with it. You can actually do takeout from anywhere and they will bring it up to you. Thankfully we brought our own music and we were able to make it an amazing night. I would say that you are better off doing a lunch than a dinner there. Because that night you cannot see anything.

The perfect setting for a romantic evening. Wait staff was very friendly (and dexterous!). The food was delicious. The view is unbelievable! If you want to spoil someone you love, this is the place to do it.

Pretty cool lighthouse. The front range one is very near too.
