We have been using Chapman Property since 1984 for our investment properties. They gave excellent service up until a few years ago. I don't know what happened in there but we have had a couple of property managers in the past who have looked after us and our properties with exceptional professionalism. Chapman Property decided to restructure or something. The great property managers are no longer and their service and communication has deteriorated. They only know how to email. They do not know what a phone is. Lease properties to tenants with dogs when you state no dogs or cats. Don't send you copies of lease agreements. (that way you don't know they have a dog) Get a report of a leaking roof and mould on the ceiling. The photos they sent clearly show the paint peeling off the walls has been there long time prior to to the recent rain we have had. If you don't get sent property reports you can't address any deterioration. Going elsewhere. Expect a letter in the next couple of days. Goodbye We have just managed to get an inspection of the property and it is filthy. Broken window a rear of home in outdoor area that has not been reported. Loose handrail on front steps that has not been reported. Sliding door not sliding, wheels broken, has not been reported. Dog living in the house. Cat living in the house.

We used Chapman property to manage our rental for 12 months before selling. Extremely disappointed in the way things were handled with the final inspection and repairs that needed to be completed by the tenants. I made many phone calls with messages to be passed on and sent multiple emails to get some details regarding repairs that the tenant needed to do (which needed to be done by settlement), this took 3 days with not one phone call returned. I feel because we are no longer using them for their services to manage the property, that they couldn’t care about our concerns or questions.

Worst agency ever, they don't respond. I was trying to schedule a inspection with one of the agent Sam Kolatchew, I called several times, the mobile number leads me straight to his office. The receptionist kept saying he will call me back but he never did. I texted him as well as emailed, not even a single reply. I couldn't figure out what went wrong and why wouldn't he respond considering my enquiries are about a house that only came out a day ago. I mean, even if he already got buyers, it's a polite thing to do to just return a call and let me know. In the end, I was so confused and I sent him a text saying I would like to make an offer (and yes it was a high offer, way above what they were asking for) and guess what? He replied within an hour!!! He knew my name and my number without a doubt! That's right! He purposely ignored all my enquires. Shame on you guys! Shame of Chapman Property!!

Absolutely fantastic, first rate service. Sarah is amazing and is all over everything strata when it comes to our property. Nothing is ever a problem for her. She keeps everyone in the loop and is extremely proactive. We’ve dealt with quite a few strata agents/managers over the years but Chapman Strata would have to be the best agents we’ve ever dealt with. They go that extra mile.
