Really impressed with the younger fella working there tonight. Very welcoming, and produced a great tasting and well executed mix of ice cream and add ons. Thanks heaps!

After a lovely walk along the foreshore with friends, we decided to have an ice cream, as it was a warm day. Apon entering the store, I was hit by the very strong sour milk smell, but ordered ice creams anyway. 4 various waffle cones cost 32. We went outside to sit at the tables out the front of the store to eat our ice creams. The tables and chairs were sticky and filthy, so I asked a staff member to wipe them for us, which they did do. Whilst the ice creams were yummy, the store and surrounds were not. A bit more cleanliness needed both in and outside the store especially in these COVID times.

Sign on door states opens at 11am on a Sunday. Shop still not open at 11.20. staff are in the shop. Thought they may have at least popped their head out the door to explain the late opening. Hard to tell a 5 year old and a 2 year old that really want icecream to wait. Quite frustrating!

Not very good customer service or friendly staff. As per the website and signage Cold Rock Newcastle closes at 10pm. The staff saw my friends and I walking towards the store and locked to the door and turned away, this was at 9:45pm. We were standing at the door and they were clearly ignoring us and were on their phones. I knocked on the door and asked if they were open and would serve us and they said no and turned back around. Not very happy.

Walked in, 3 young boys working, VERY bland customer service.. 7.10 for a kiddies ice cream with about 10 mnms in it.. Ice cream is good as always Store was in average condition, staff are letting the brand down.

The service was awesome and the price and serving size were also great. My rum and raisin sadly did not have much rum flavour otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Ice cream not cold enough. Melted on a cold night so fast. Roughly 1/3rd wasted. COLD rock not COLd at all. Other stores are good
