April 2021; ABS light came on in truck; took it in for repair. Joe (owner) told us only way to fix the ABS issue was to replace the front left bearing as it and the ABS are all one unit. However, he said there was nothing wrong with the bearing but it was all one unit. My wife picked up the truck and drove less than 500 yards and the ABS light came on. she immediately returned to the shop; joe hooked up his mechanical box and agreed ABS light came on. He did a test drive over rough road at high speed and the light did not come back on. The next day we moved the truck in the driveway and ABS light came on. we contacted Joe and he could fit us in in a week. we took the truck back and at that time, Joe phoned and informed us the wire connected to the ABS module was the problem - however he was not licensed or qualified to repair that part of the ABS and told us to take the truck somewhere else and insisted that we "broke" the truck by driving it. We called the shop; asked for Joe; he was not available so his son, Dan, returned our call. Dan admitted that they were not licensed to repair ABS and should never have taken on the initial ABS job. We asked for a refund and he agreed to return the 714.40. Minutes later, Joe called us - was aggressive, confrontational and made verbal personal attacks even though we do not know the man personally. We tried to reason with him but in a fit of anger, he screamed at us "have a nice day" and slammed down the phone. Extremely unprofessional behaviour, shocking display of anger. As a result, we have an appointment set up with a dealership where the work will be assessed and we will be taking further actions against Don's Auto Body to receive a refund. We paid 714 for nothing to be fixed and were told to "go away" leaving our money on the table.

My father is handicapped. These generous peoples, picked up and dropped off my dad twice. Absolutely friendly and fair business. Highly recommended local,knowledgeable mechanics.
I have used Don's for some time now, have had exhaust work, brake job, serpentine belt change and check engine light. All work done with the upmost professionalism. My serpentine belt, he took the car checked it and found it was just dry, sprayed it with belt lube and gave the car back and said no charge. Just don't expect that out of an auto shop. My last visit was with my rav 4, it had an O2 sensor problem, was given a reasonable quote to fix and when I went to pick up my vehicle the young man who served me said it wasn't as difficult to remove and change and the bill was 100 cheaper, again just don't see that in an auto shop, he then went on to explain what an interesting job it was to do. These guys do great work, the owner Joe has always got my vehicles in when it suited me most, dont hesitate to use these people.
I had a great experience at Don's auto. They are a very honest family run business. They are really for the people. I recommend Don's to anyone looking for a mechanic. 5 stars all the way!

I’m surprised I haven’t left a review for this place yet. I take my car here for regular service and any other needs. I’ve done tire changes, oil changes, brakes, general check ups and also basic question on car care. Dealing with Joe and the rest of the staff is great. They are patient and always provide an excellent service. Prices are fair and they are always willing to take the time to check your car even if you drop by without an appointment. I totally recommend this place! You don’t be disappointed.
Very Professional service, they let me know exactly what was wrong and what needed to be fixed and what didn’t need to be fixed.
