I own a business support agency, and we provide PA resources to small businesses in the Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire areas onsite and virtually all over the UK. Good IT is essential to provide this service so our laptops and PCs need to work at optimum levels all the time. Recently I experienced some difficulties with my laptop. The keys kept sticking and then the keyboard stopped working completely. I contacted Hixon Group who I have used as our IT provider for 4 years to get assistance. They remotely logged onto my laptop and tried various diagnostic software tools to identify the reason for the malfunction. The reason was not apparent, so we arranged for me to work at their office the next day whilst they looked at the laptop. On opening the laptop up they discovered a thin film of moisture that was causing the issue. This had been caused by a member of my family cleaning my laptop with wet wipes – not recommended. Hixon sorted out this issue by rebuilding my laptop and I was up and running by the end of the working day. I cannot recommend the Hixon Group highly enough. They sorted out my laptop, enabled me to continue working and I even got a brew!
