Ate downstairs and outside on a Tuesday lunch time. Upon ordering food there was a sign stating "90 minutes wait" which was good that they let us know. We ordered the buffalo wings for a starter which only took 20 minutes to be served. 10 buffalo wings were served and they were scrumptious 5/5. However when the 2 mains came out 20 minutes after the wings the chips with the fish burger looked to be cooked in dirty oil and tasted dry which was a big let down and the salt & pepper squid batter was too dense in texture with a curry taste which was unpleasantly unexpected.

We eat outside on the balcony. Great views watching tug boats and large ships sail by. Lunch was good. Being a celiac I accidentally ordered the wrong dish when I noticed this I went to the bar to see if I could change my order. The staff were wonderful and very obliging even though I had made the mistake.

Lovely food and good drinks. General vibe of the whole complex towards the afternoon/night is often consistently good. The live music makes it way better and the security guards are also fairly nice. However you often need to enter the facility at around 2pm if you want to get in on a Sunday.

Some good deals in terms of drinks. Unfortunately both times we have visited staff were extremely disinterested in serving us which is disappointing because it ruins the experience. Staff would benefit from some hospitality training.

Went there recently, had a great time, really nice, friendly and competent staff who were exceptionally helpful with my mate in a wheelchair - but outside in the wharf drinking area and around the premises the place smells overwhelmingly of stale garbage. It was really very bad.

Had a table booked for 16. We all sat down and had a chat then ordered food after 30 min Then had to wait about an hour before food came out we had about 20min for everyone to eat food before they kicked us out ... the 2 hour time restriction would of been fine if the food came out at a reasonable time but everyone was rushed and people had to leave food on the table. But all the food was great pub food!

Lovely sea side restaurant/pub with great views overlooking the Newcastle port. Lovely family environment with a courtesy bus if not able to drive

What a great afternoon. Fish fry were awesome as always, 6 of us had a gr8 time. Sadly over an hour wait for 2 fish and chips.
