Not our 1st visit. Again, helpful smiling staff, wonderful food and ambience. I really can understand this place's popularity. Rustica sets a good standard!

Nice location with beautiful Newcastle beach scenery. Food is unique, different but delicious. The service is superb... Thought it will be slow as there are quite busy even in the week day, not weekend but we didn't wait that long at all for our food to be served. Would come back again and really recommend.

Amazing location along the beach and a great aesthetic inside. I got the spaghetti with king prawns in the entree size and I wish I got the main! It was so delicious I just wanted more! My friend also has allergies that they were able to address and check with the chef, and staff were very friendly

Great waterfront location, nice Mediterranean food. Banquet good though first two courses are just tastes. Main course of lamb and veg highlights what they are famous for. Desserts middling. Staff excellent.

I’ve never taken so many photos of a restaurant before the food even arrives. This establishment has beautiful decor and incredible views. We ordered 2 lunch specials the morrocan chicken and pie of the day. We didn’t ask what the pie was so it would be a surprise. The food was very good. The pie was packed full of mussels and octopus, which was a good surprise. The prices of the food are a little higher with mains between 35-40. The lunch specials are 22. I would say the quality of food, level of service and ambiance do more than justify the prices. I recommend this establishment.

Pork belly was excellent. Quite a delicious meal. View was good. Service is what you expect which is good. Bar staff need to read the label on the ginger cider and flip the bottle before serving. But the real let down was the venue. It's a shame the venue doesn't have decent air conditioning. Being a warm day was expecting to walk in to a bit of air con but my partners first words were "you think it's hot in here?" just makes for an uncomfortable dinner. Even the staff said its warm. Surely Rustica is making enough money to fix this simple issue. Or maybe this is a ploy to make you buy more drinks? Definitely won't be coming back on a warm night.

Disappointed in the portion size of the prawn and chorizo pasta. Certainly not worth the 32 price. However, the dishes flavour was good.

Our dinner last night was very nice, great service, the restaurant is beautiful. When it comes to food, I feel there were ups and downs: hummus with crackers - honestly nothing special, hummus a bit dry and the crackers almost from shop around the corner, zucchini flowers - very nice dish worth trying, spaghetti with prawns - very average, pumpkin gnocchi - out of the roof! That dish was amazing! Overall, worth going to.
