Love this park - great asset for the area - that's why I give it 5 starts. Unfortunately on my last visit I was saddened to see so much litter. The park is to encourage wild life / birds to the habitat and provide an outdoor area for people to enjoy and connect with nature. Please - take home your rubbish (it really doesn't take much effort) and dispose of your doggie poo bags in a responsible way - not hang them off branches!

Lovely ex mine site, transformed into a lovely wildlife park, excellent place for nice stroll.

Award winning country park. Lovingly maintained with a lake and lovely walks. Nature preserve areas with plenty of wildlife. Some nice artwork throughout the park. It's is also very quiet.
