I am a local chiropractor interested in local businesses and this one is one of the top notch businesses in Newcastle. They have good products that are unlike any you will find anywhere else in a brick and mortar business in the Newcastle metro area. Elizabeth is really knowledgeable about the products there. I get cleaning products there that are chemical free, body and face wash that doesn’t have the nasties in it, food that is clean and healthful for my body, organic spices, organic essential oils, kombucha and its all reasonably priced. We, in Newcastle are lucky to have a place we can easily pop into for our health needs. I have always noticed that their prices as compared to Holland and Barrett are comparable. The quality at Almond and Raisins is above and beyond.

Excellent shop which sells a wide range of health food and vegan produce. I think it's a one stop shop for vegans. I would recommend you try some of the vegan produce. I have made some very nice healthy meals with some of the things sold here and you get very good advice on how to prepare dishes from the knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit hence 5 .

Purchased chia seeds priced @ 5.99 then found them everywhere else half the price or less. Total rip off. I won't be going again. It's a shame as I prefer to support the smaller shops :(

Fantastic little shop! Lot's of different Yogi and Pukka teas. Great for vegan food, including marshmallows and meat substitutes. Lovely bunch of hard working staff too.
