Lovely little shop with a nice variety of crystals, books, jewellery and other items that I'd like to buy more of! The staff is very helpful and always happy to answer questions or just to have a little chat with. I love the fact that there is a little cafe in the bottom, although I haven't made it there yet. But it is on my to do list! Overall I was very happy with my few visits to the shop and the friendly and knowledgeable support I received from the staff. I'd like to add that during the current pandemic the staff adhere to the social distancing rules and they ask you to sanitise your hands when entering the shop. I think this is so important and it is nice to see that they ensure customer safety. I will definitely return and would recommend Elula to anyone who is looking for a shop like this.

Fantastic shop with very knowledgeable staff. My friends in the area know this shop well, They are more than just a shop. Not easily accessible but the owner does their best to help everyone even in such trying times as these. Thank you for all you do.

Wonderful place. Very brave of them to continue operating even though one of the owners is high risk re covid. Really wonderful people.

THIS REVIEW WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED ON FACEBOOK AND THEN THEY REMOVED THEIR REVIEWS AND BLOCKED ME FROM THEIR PAGE. Very disappointed with my visit today considering I wasn't even allowed in the shop! This business discriminates those with disabilities. Not only is this illegal but really upset me as someone with an invisible illness. I was treat as though I was a leper, some sort of sub human. When I mentioned that I was exempt I was told that they don't accept exemptions. When I said that I struggle to breathe wearing a mask she still disregarded me and said I would not be allowed in. She then gave me the option of being served outside the store. This was useless as I really needed to have a good browse to find what I wanted. Nevertheless I was shopping as a favour for a friend so I agreed. Only for then to return not only wearing a mask as she previously did but also a visor. This made me feel awful, like I was a lesser being with the lurgy. Not only am I not allowed in the shop but I am treat differently as well. I asked for two gems out of the four or so options she gave me. So she went away and came back. Only for me to then ask if she had contactless. Thankfully she didn't so I didn't have to support such an awful business. I can't help that I have an invisible illness or that I can't wear a mask without harmful effects yet I was because of this discriminated against. Even if its 'your shop your rules' its illegal to discriminate those with disabilities. And to not accept medical exemptions is disgusting. No human should be made to feel the way I was today. I tried to stay as positive as I could through the whole ordeal but it was truly demeaning and disparaging! Shame on you!
