I love this store, its large, bright and has a much more varied range of geeky stock compared to the old Forbidden Planet further down the street. They're doing very well with Social Distancing and mask wearing. I knocked one star off as my recent visits I have left without finding anything worth purchasing. The stock may be more varied than it used to be but the focus is definitely on certain IPs such as Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead which don't interest me as much, but there is still a decent enough range of items of Video Games, Marvel, DC, Harry Potter and others. The staff are always wonderful and cheerful.

Great place to be. . Even just looking around the place is amazing. And I'd also like to apologise to the cashier for my unacceptable behaviour. Love the shop to bits

This is my grandchildren's favourite shop in the whole world and just before christmas I went in with a long shopping list . The store was reasonably busy but they appeared to be very understaffed . There was one person on the till with a queue of customers and one other staff member with what I took to be a customer , so rather than interrupt , I continued to browse . After 20 minutes I found 3 of the items on my list in a glass cabinet at the back of the store but the staff member was still talking .It was only as I edged closer that I realised he wasnt with a customer at all as they were talking about video games . I was so annoyed that I left without buying anything and went to travelling man for other items on my list . I returned 30 minutes later but he was still in conversation with the same person .
