Well organised entrance by booking on line. Fabulous scenery and lovely country walks. Sanitising stations around the site. Be back soon

Gibside is beautiful, especially at this time of year. The cafe was still open for takeaways - hot drinks and a few nibbles. The grounds are definitely being well managed and people are being limited on entrance so that there aren't too many people there. Bear in mind that you'll have to pre-book tickets, otherwise you won't be able to enter. I highly recommend Gibside for a lovely day out, as it is an easy place to spend a few hours.

We went for the ignite festival and it was great. Park and ride seemed well organised and the lights themselves in the walled garden setting were amazing. Would highly recommend going whilst the festival is on if you can and outside of the festival also as it's a beautiful place.

Really nice place, one of our new favourites to visit in national trust. Lots of nice walks, really nice play area/park for the kids. If you're not keen on walking up hill go anticlockwise round the big walk!

I walk here, every week, with my friend. It's our escapism during lockdown. Lovely walks, takeaway hot drinks available, served by pleasant staff. What more could we want? Better still, it's right on our doorstep so no being scrutinised for travelling 'out of our area.'
