Quality vehicles. Good efficient service. Vehicles are reasonably close to the terminal. My only suggestion is to install a covered walkway to the vehicle pick up because it can be cold and rainy.

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL!!! I hired a car a while ago from London and dropped it off at Newcastle Airport. The service and the car was perfect when I picked the car up. When I dropped it off, I filled the car up at the garage next to the hertz office. I then signed the digital form on the employees ipad, which stated I would get my full deposit back. I was told I would also receive a copy of the form. When I left l, the employee asked if I had a receipt for the petrol. I said no and he told me not to worry. I didn't receive a copy of the form and 35 was missing from me deposit for fuel. Clearly the employee used this to fill up another car (or his own) at my expense. I complained and was told I did not have a case,despite this being theft, no investigation took place and I still don't have a copy of the form or a refund.

Good service and fair pricing. Used the in car GPS to find the location and it tried to send me down a no access road. Tried using google maps and it did the same thing.

We chose and reserved an estate car with them well in advance of our trip. We needed the extra room for luggage and seating for family we were visiting there. I had also planned on picking up some flat pack furniture from Ikea for my father. When we got too the airport I was told they had no estate cars, and gave me an XC60 Volvo instead. I asked if they could get a car delivered from another location, but the staff told me I would have to drive to Sunderland to swap it. I don't understand what the point is in choosing a class of car, if they don't hold that car for you. What a waste of time. We won't use that Hertz location again, and I will try to avoid using them in the future.

I booked 4 weeks ago 6 seater Van and with my friend, received call from Lee before 3 days and said sorry van having accident and same call to my friend with same excuse , sorry van having accident. Said we will change car with extra 50 , last minutes trying to sell at more price , not recommended at all.

First class service from start to finish. My car was spotlessly clean, brand new and delivered to me on time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hertz Car Hire to all my friends and colleagues. May I also add it's rather galling to the hard working staff of Hertz Car Hire to see a bad report wrote about them by a Sierra Hire customer. Who I seriously doubt even exists.
