This is not a place for medical treatment just for folk to be comfortable to die. They do not do regular observations. For decent care you need a hospital not a hospice. Don’t be fooled if your told this is somewhere where medical care is optimum. The staff are very poor at dealing with real medical issues and will give biased advice just to get you to give your loved one medication to make them comfortable whereas they could actually get better if treated at a hospital.

We we’re called earlier as our father was terminal and likely to pass. It is not 24 hour access as advertised on line so they would not let us see him. The manager told us that should he die before the morning then ‘ we could just put in a complaint’. A very caring remark for a hospice manager. Well done especially after she knew we had travelled over 4 hours due to train delays.
My dear friend Joanna had the few weeks of her life here the staff are all fantastic special people! Caring people! The place is lovely best care ever and I will continue to show my gratitude in many ways xxxxxxxx love and light to the staff and anyone reading this! Xxxxxx
Took excellent care of my father during his last weeks, staff were lovely and ensured he was well looked after and comfortable, as well as providing support for us afterwards. Loved the therapy dog at Christmas too!
My dear mum spent the last week of her life here. The nurses are so caring and loving, the overall place is absolutely beautiful and well kept for. I’m grateful places like this exist for end of life care because my mum deserved the world, also me and my family wouldn’t of wanted her to go any other way. Thank you to the nurses and everyone else who contributes to this establishment
