All the staff were professional and very courteous, giving honest and unbiased advise about my prescription and options. No pressure was applied to buy and all tests were carried out in hygienic surroundings with great care given to appropriate social distancing.

5* laser eye surgery but only 3* customer service. Some of the call centre staff based in Glasgow are rude. Staff at both Newcastle branches are very helpful and caring.

Took my elderly Father for the 1st time to your Eldon square store Newcastle , greeted at the door from entering store team very welcoming and made my dad feel at ease in these uncertain times , we where provided with face masks, had our temperature taken and provided with hand gel, very safe but welcoming and felt at ease, the optician took her time to explain everything she was doing and had a very professional but personable manner. She recommended varifocal glasses and handed us to the assistant who took her time to go through the different lens and even showed us these on her computer, and even gave my dad a free second pair of spare reading glasses. Would definitely recommend this store. It was my dads first time out shopping after shielding and he felt very safe and well looked after. Thank you everyone in the store
