Great stop,well controlled and easy to use

No enclosed waiting area, despite the fact passengers can end up hanging around here for some time waiting to change trains and wheelchair users will find there's some lengthy slopes to negotiate whilst doing so —why a lift has not been installed here as at Benton station is something of a mystery. Still, for those who can use it there's a rather nice original North Eastern Railway footbridge, painted in the standard \yellow and black\ metro livery.

Very poor station, no lifts for example. The metro service is relatively frequent from this station, however there is always delays and broken down trains
Having lifts would be more convenient
Safe and secure station as metro HQ is there, wish they would allow the timetable so the trains to Newcastle and the Airport would match up.
A nice clean place to change trains after getting on the wrong one
