Stopped in to visit a friend. Pretty nice and large restrooms for a campground. They have a hidden location ...with a pool, small playground and areas to play. The tent sites are a bit commingled. If you'd like privacy I suggest a site bordering the woods. I prefer sites with more vegetation in between, but I'm a girl from New England in the woods. Lastly- pine trees. They are tall and full of sap. You may want to bring a car and shoes you don't mind getting pine pitch on.

Helpful staff, spacious sites, friendly campers, and close to Hampton Beach, Portsmouth, and other fun adventures. There is a pool that was open. We did not check laundry or showers but the park is well kept by the family who owns it. There is also a nice little dock and boat ramp for small boats and kayaks. Bring lots of bug spray for mosquitos. There is also an Eagle family with a beautiful nest in a tree. We loved watching the baby Eagle (which was huge) fly from tree to tree.
Our stay at great bay camping was hands down great and amazing! The sites are very clean and open. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a new clean bathhouse, pool, playground and different sports activities for you fun! All in all its one of the best camp sites that I have visited. Plus the mascot dog is super lovable!
My family and I enjoyed our stay. It peaceful and relaxing. The staff is friendly and the seasonals are just as friendly. Our site was clean and close to the pool the bathrooms were AWESOME. The staff also did a great job with trying to keep the misquotes away. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future.
My wife and I spent a week here in June. The large wooded sites were secluded and away. Access to the river for kayaking was easy, the pool was great and it has the best bathhouse. Most importantly, Dave was friendly, helpful and genuinely nice. This is a great family friendly campground and we will be back!
Best Campground! Extremely reasonable, grounds-inclusive; impeccably operated (rates and property), family oriented/owned for generations, newly renovated/updating (with modern facilities), seasonal campground! If your looking for a Great place to get away in mother nature, look No further!
Decent place, little tough for us because it was high mosquito season so we had to dump bug spray on the family. Other than that, nice place for tent camping, water is far from tent sites though. Nice bathrooms, free shower, tmobile gets 5g, fire ring provided
Very clean, bathroom are spotless and beautiful sites. Great people there and campers. Our new favorite spot, Sorry Dave.
