The attractive new school building was completed through the Rural Replacement Program in 2010 and has a current enrolment of 124 students.   It is committed to providing a happy, caring and stimulating environment that embraces the parent and local community and equips our students with the knowledge, skills and values to meet future challenges in learning and social interactions.   The school's Parents and Friends group is well established and effectively identifies school needs for fundraising and organises and conducts whole school activities.   NPS is committed to continuous improvement and achieving excellence in teaching and learning at every level with high results in Literacy and Numeracy.   NPS has 10.7 equivalent fulltime staff: 7 teaching staff, 1 Principal class and 2.5 Education Support Staff.  This includes specialist teachers for French, Music, PE/Sport and Science as well as a Visual Arts Program.
