To small room was cold when we arrived. Location is good. Should be priced lower. No wifi. Beds were old. Not sure if i will be staying here again.

We came through the area and stayed here a couple years ago. So, since we were in the area we decided to stop in again. The lodge appears to have been built in the 70’s or early 80’s. The buildings and grounds look fairly well maintained. The room was clean but had a musty oder. The room was very chilly when we checked in so we turned on the heater then left to go sight see while the room warmed up a bit. There was not a telephone or hairdryer in the room. The room was small and the furniture was old but serviceable. Internet service is spotty at best. A continental breakfast is served but it didn’t open until 8:30 so we were down the road by then. However, the lodge is situated in a great area and close to lots of hiking trails, waterfalls, and overlooks. It is very close to an access way to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Was worried at first with all the reviews but wasn't many places to crash nearby. They seem to be in the process of remodeling.....we stayed in #6 and it was definitely built in the 70s but it was clean, and the staff were super nice and helpful!! They even sell wine and beer if you need to unwind. Its right down the street from Linville Caverns which we'll be heading to tomorrow.

So me and my family have came to this motel since I was young and we were very disappointed to find out that the motel has new owners. The lady in the front was extremely rude first of all. The room was nasty with stains on the floor, stains in the bed, urine still in the toilet, a used bar of soap in the bathroom, the bathroom door nob broke when we touched it but my dad fixed it for them. The beds are old and solid as a rock and the blankets and sheets are thin and barely even fit the beds. For over 100 a night this place is nothing but a rip off. You don’t even get WiFi here making it hard to even plan your trip. Stray far away from this place if you look farther you will find pineolia inn which is half the price and much better as well. Honestly would rather see this place shut down permanently after the way we were treated.

I wish I could give this travesty of a lodging negative stars. The room was not cleaned, but the bed was made. We found urine and hair on the toilet seat, a full box of moldy pizza, several magazines, a used cup of wine and other trash on the dresser, and the made bed's stained sheets were full of hair, food crumbs, BOOGERS wiped into the linen and something crusty I can only asume is semen. The door did not lock from the inside or outside. I was afraid to use the rust stained, cracked shower. By the time we realized the extent of the damage (10:30), the office was closed and no one was answering the night manager line. I spent most of the night in the car for fear of bedbugs. The following morning we asked for a refund due to obvious health violations, and the old woman behind the counter pretended to not speak English well. (She seemed to do fine the night before.) We asked for the phone number of the owner because she said he was the only one who could issue a refund. She then refused to give us any number, saying only that the mysterious Mr. Patel would be here at 4 on Friday. We've called the BBB, put a hold on any transactions from this business on our card and are now waiting nervously to see if we've contracted bed bugs from this awful place. Save yourself the heartache and either camp or shell out double the money for the other lodging in Linville Falls.

We stayed in November and needless to say, we got a full refund. The rooms were nasty. Dirty sheets was the biggest issues. Staff was very nice and helpful but that place definitely needs to be closed to renovate

It certainly wasn't worth the price. It was in a nice area. The room number 3 was haunted, all we heard all night was something knocking or tapping all night. When we checked to see what was there, nothing there everytime. So if you want a haunted room get number 3. Other than that it was a little run down.

Very nice, cozy. Even had a stove and fridge in it. Will stay here again when we come back up.
