Great company and exceptional service. I have spoken several times to the owner and he has always answered my questions. The unit arrived well packaged and in great shape. After adding fuel, antifreeze and hooking up the battery the unit started on the first try and ran within the parameters needed. If I were to need another unit I would buy from them and will tell anyone looking for a unit to contact them.

Aurora Generator is a incredibly product. I purchased my Generator 4 years ago now and had a slight problem with heating. A call to customer support guided me through a remote diagnosis. They quickly ordered the needed part (Thermostat) and guided it's install (I live very remote and getting service person to my location is very difficult). The product is a definite showcase because of it's great looks and very quiet operation (specially for a 4 cylinder diesel engine). It has been critical for comfort and security over the last 4 years giving me full home back up for several days at a timer during power outages. Many of my local friends have back up generators in the area and have used a propane model that are just not standing up to the needed use. There next move is to a Aurora! Great Product Great Canadian Company and Really Great STAFF! Highly recommend special for those who are like me and located on remote islands or locations!

We have lived off grid in central Ontario for about 12 years. Unfortunately during the darkest months we require a backup generator. We have had one Chinese diesel generator and two propane generators. All of those seem to be manufactured as disposable, planned obsolescence items. Also, living in an isolated area, we couldn't get propane deliveries year round.When our second Kohler propane generator died a premature death, we started looking for a serious generator. Luckily, we found Aurora. Not only is it a local company but the quality standards are fantastic. While we have only been running the generator for four months, we have had no problems. In addition, when I recently ordered oil, fuel and air filters, the service was great. Recently, our son had a friend visiting whose previous job was maintaining a fleet of hundreds of diesel generators in Fort MacMurry, Alberta. He had to check out our generator and was totally impressed by the components and the quality. We are very pleased with our purchase. It was an investment but we believe that it was a wise investment.
