I have been a patient of Dr. Rita Louie for over 20 years and have nothing but praise and respect for this incredibly hard working and knowledgeable optometrist. I have complicated eye issues and also see specialists. Dr. Rita Louie is the only one who takes the time to patiently answer my questions, explain tests results and listen to my concerns. Dr. Louie recently fitted me for new glasses and because of my high myopia special considerations were needed. Dr. Louie stayed late that evening to ensure I was taken care of and frames which would support my high prescription were chosen. Without hesitation I would recommend Dr. Rita Louie if you are looking for a compassionate, caring and extremely professional optometrist.

I have been going to Dr. Louie for many years and have been impressed with the toughness of he eye examination. In addition I have required additional assistance from eye surgeons. Dr. Louie was quick to obtain the required help and provide support through out 2 different and difficult situations. This is a top professional office!

Had my eyes checked and received an eyeglass prescription for computer glasses. I did not buy glasses from there as they are way too expensive. Took my prescription to a more reasonably priced place and ordered my glasses. I received my glasses but they are virtually useless because the focal point is about 10cm away from my nose. The place I bought my glasses from swears that's what the prescription called for. Who do I blame now?!?!?! I blame myself for going to Dr. R Louie & Dr. B Louie. They don't like it when you take the prescription elsewhere. I suspect I received a wrong prescription for not getting my glasses there. Thanks!!! Good bye, FOREVER!!!!

I trust these optometrists. Have always had excellent care. Dr. Rita Louie is my optometrist for over ten years. In emergencies have seen Dr. Liao who also impressed me. Support staff are also very professional and efficient. I see some complaints about wait times. For the type of care given here it is worth the wait. The convenience of having opticians on site who do not use pressure sales tactics is also of great benefit.

I had an appointment with Dr. Benson Louie. His staff were extremely professional, and very thorough throughout my intake process. Dr. Benson was extremely knowledgeable and informative during the appointment. He is a genuinely caring man and very competent Optometrist. Dr. Rita and Dr. Benson also has a remarkable team of dedicated staff. The entire process was a very positive experience and I will definitely be back

Dr.Rita made me wait a whole hour before getting into my BOOKED appointment. During the appointment she would continuously try to book other apppintments to cause you to pay extra fees such as a contact fitting (which is offered for free at other doctors when purchasing lenses from them). She also tried to convince me that buying contacts online is more expensive than buying from her.The last time I bought from her, it was the most expensive I've paid for contacts which is why I opted to buy online in the first place. Never going here ever again, makes sense why this place has the worst reviews in Newmarket.
