Duck have been twice to my house to install a boiler and fix a leaking toilet. I've been very impressed both times - very reasonable quotes and they turned up on time and did the work with no problems. Have spoken to them on other occasions about potential work and they are always helpful and never pushy.

I called up with a problem with my boiler pressure and had no hot water. Within about an hour it was fixed, as well as a radiator that was cold. The customer service on the phone was very good, and the plumber (Ryan) was very friendly and efficient and explained what the problem was. I won’t use any other plumbers !!

My experience with Duck Plumbing's property maintenance service was extremely disappointing. I used their service at my landlord's request. While the main office was friendly enough, the serviceman they sent out was impolite and incompetent. A TV bracket installation that should've taken 30-60 minutes ended up taking two hours plus. He kept having to return to his vehicle to get glasses, his toolbox, etc. that he for some reason did not carry with him; we had to call the TV manufacturer to confirm how to remove the stand since he refused to consider our instructions and simply wouldn't offer any solutions; it took him 3 attempts to screw the TV into the bracket and required my flatmate and me to actually hold the TV while he did it (otherwise we would've had to wait again for him to return with another serviceman); and when the TV/bracket was finally installed, it was clear he had ignored our placement requests and placed it off-center. When he finally left, he had the nerve to bluntly blame us for buying a \cheap bracket\. Fast forward to a over a month later when we finally received the invoice with a due date from the previous month and an outrageous price. I can't speak to Duck Plumbing's heating and plumbing services, but you can certainly do better for property maintenance.

Called them on 2 occasions on recommendation. First time to sort out sluggish flow in the sink tap. Dyno-rod had attended 3 times, and even made me change the tap, but the sluggish flow did'nt improve. Duck plumbing diagnosed an obstruction behind the tap within 10 mins and resolved the flow in the next 15 mins. Second time to install a shower pump. The price of the pump was very competitive and the installation took 90 mins, without fuss or disruption. Others (all big names) had quoted for installation time as 4-5 hours and the Pump price was not competitive either. The engineer who attended both times was Pavel. A quiet, efficient and very competent engineer.
