What differentiates Lara B Bridal from other wedding dress shops? The answer is simple and was simple to me as soon as I walked into the shop. Its Lara herself. Lara is a wonderful lady and as soon as you step foot into the store you feel special. Her bespoke service from initial meeting to taking the dress home is impeccable as the service she provides is individual. The second thing is her bespoke dresses. Lara is a designer (which is a massive differentiator) and makes fantastic separates which she makes into a final wedding dress. I found with other dress shops, that I would like the top of the dress but wouldn’t like the skirt and vice versa: however, with her designs, you could tailor what skirts and tops you liked and then layer them. The third thing is quality. The quality of the fabrics she uses are amazing and you can really tell the difference between other dresses you get in other stores. I would recommend Lara B to anyone who is getting married. Any shape or size, Lara makes you feel special. I will miss Lara and Rosie and will cherish the fantastic memories I had in store with them creating the fantastic dress I got to wear for my wedding day. Thank you so much xxxxx

I most definitely recommend Lara for anyone else looking for a wedding dress. I got married in late October 2018, having first gone to Lara's shop in January. I only tried on a few different dresses, quickly settling on a Lara B Couture option where Lara put a top and two layers of skirt together, which she had designed. I then went back for measurements, followed by 3 more quick slots to make some tweaks and made sure it fitted perfectly. And it really did, Lara knew exactly what needed doing to make it look beautiful and fit like a glove. She added some gorgeous motifs that stitched on to the back, and amended the sleeve length so they were longer than in the original design. I was so happy with my dress, and got a lot of comments on the day as to how beautiful it was, and perfect for me. I can't wait to see our official photos! Thanks Lara, and Rosie, I'll be recommending you to anyone I know nearby if they get engaged .
Lara and her able assistant Rosie have an abundance of patience which I tested once or twice! As a first time older bride I had done the rounds of bridal shops but nothing really grabbed my attention, nothing prepares you for the pressure of finding THE dress so gave up and decided to have one made having been inspired by a picture in a bridal magazine. On first meeting with Lara & Rosie they made it gently clear that whilst dress I had seen was lovely it wouldn’t work for me without some creative touches. Very true as the model was a size 6, stick thin with no bust. So my expectations were managed from the off with the promise that the dress would be exactly the feel and look I was looking for that would showcase the very best of me. They hold your hand re-assuring you at every fitting that you will be happy. They did not disappoint in any way whatsoever – loved my dress and felt like a stylish princess on the day! No other dress would have done but the dress designed for me by Lara B.
All I can say is wow! Before visiting Lara B, I was so disappointed by the impersonal experiences in other bridal shops and I'm just so thankful that I was recommended this gorgeous boutique. From the minute I walked through the door, Lara and Rosie made me feel so at ease and I so enjoyed every experience with them. My dress was absolutely beautiful and I can't recommend them enough.
Lara & Rosie were brill! They helped me find a dress at very short notice. Made my mum and I feel very comfortable and at home with them. The dresses in the shop are so nice, some lovely delicate dresses with gorgeous details. They only allow for one bride to be to have an appointment at one time which again made me feel completely comfortable, in no rush and relaxed. I highly recommend this shop if you searching for a dress. You won't be disappointed. Their warm, relaxed style is a complete winner for any bride to be and her family.
