These lovely people gave us really good practical advice on how to look after the young hedgehog we rescued before we were able to take it in to them. When we dropped it off we were really impressed with them and their good work. Please give them your support they deserve it!

What a wonderful, caring person you are Sue. Thank you so much for rescuing the 6 week old baby hedgehog we found today and all the others that are fortunate enough to have found their way to you!

Phoned up as small hedgehog in my garden during the day. Very friendly and helpful service, hopefully I will get my little hedgehog back when she is ready to be released. We all need to look out for our little prickly friends.

Very busy. Sue runs an extremely competent and accommodating hedgehog hospital/rescue. She is having a larger hospital built at the moment. She runs this herself entirely on donations from the public. It's obvious that she devotes her life and time to it. There are volunteers but she also needs fosters who can look after late litter hogs (in tbeir own homes) to overwinter them as they put on weight (too small to hibernate during their first winter). Hospital is easy to find, just a few miles outside Newmarket. As hedgehogs are an endangered British species (from 30 million in the 50s down to 1million in recent years), Sue is doing a valuable job, along with her volunteers, to try to preserve these interesting, prickly little garden friends. Good luck, Sue.

Emailed about a small young looking hedgehog and never heard from them. One star is generous.

A very caring environment where hedgehogs, and other animals, are looked after superbly. We took a very unwell young hedgehog in and she was nursed back to health by Sue whose dedication to their welfare is second to none.
