We enjoyed a good Sunday lunch at this exceptional pub. The Covid shutdown was not wasted time as the bar and restaurant had been spruced up. Tables sanded and freshly varnished. Full protective plastic screens erected and cover the entire length of the bar. Floors sanded and painted. A good selection of beers and cider always available from the friendly, well trained staff. Horse racing is always a feature of the 'Wagon' and sports like Rugby, Football and F1 motor racing provide further entertainment on the numerous TV screens. Proper Job.
