Looking at some of the stock like bits, it's amazing what you can buy

In twenty years of shopping at Waitrose the few issues I have had have always been resolved with kindness and respect. The way I was spoken to today by the Deputy Manager when trying to return an item was despicable, she was unbelievably rude. The member of staff I initially spoke to also stayed nearby so she could hear us in order to continuously interrupt and make negative comments. I felt ganged up on and extremely uncomfortable, I hope Waitrose are very careful when picking their Managers in the future. Also, I was once again scolded a number of times for not having a receipt after being encouraged by Waitrose to go paperless, I'll be ensuring that in the future I just get my receipt, it's just not worth the hassle and rudeness from their staff.

Lovely shop, restrictions on numbers entering helping to keep social distancing. Tills were well manned so no long queues. The only problem was certain customers pushing their way into the store, having no thought for anybody trying to leave. Unfortunately, none of us can do anything about that.

Shelves well stacked, some good deals, only a few people in shopping, no queues for the tills and we got everything we needed.
