Absolutely impossible to get through for an appointment each day takes hours then be told we have no appointment for two weeks. It's all very well blaming the covid but it's always been the same

I generally find the staff on reception here very helpful and understanding. I telephoned last week and was told to ring back this week regarding my mum's prescription. This I did at about 11:45 and the person I was put through to didn't listen and completely spoke over me. She was very rude and not a good advertisement for your surgery. I am sorry to have to post a negative comment because I totally understand that your staff are under pressure and I have to say that generally they are very helpful. On this occasion however, I feel that my comments are completely justified.
Poor service! Unfortunately 99% of the time I cannot get through the phone at the surgery. Today I’ve tried more than 50 times to ring for more than one hour and all I got was “user busy”. This has nothing to do with Covid as the situation was similar before that but it’s getting worse.I’ve also been on hold before for more than two hours and no one answered the phone! I’ve had to walk to the surgery before just to be told by the receptionist that she is the only one dealing with the patients on the desk and that she is expected to answer the phone calls as well. Apparently that’s the daily routine and not a one off. That’s why we can barely get through! Management, how is this acceptable? Why there isn’t a phone queue system like other surgeries? I hope that you’ll review your system which is clearly not working in order to make it more accessible to your patients!
3 weeks and still no answering of the phone morning or afternoon!!! No return of emails.... How the hell do people get their medication... How many will go undiagnosed as you don't answer the phone any more.... Wish I never moved to this surgery 26 days and can't get no one to answer the phone
