Do you ever feel like there is something missing despite the busy life you have? My husband and I did. We decided to reconnect with a faith community and searched for 10 years for a home church...we found our home when we walked in to Newport Lutheran. Historical building, progressive ideas about worship. Small enough to get to know people, large enough to be able to be yourself. Join us in celebrating the blessings of life, honoring lives gone by, surviving and thriving in tumultous times, learning, growing as people. Welcoming others of all walks of life and being welcomed... and giving back to the South Washington County community and the world. Doing all of these things in Faith is a vital aspect of our lives. A congregation of regular people with open hearts and open minds. Come join us! 9am Sundays or 530 pm Saturdays. ELCA. Attending leaves a full heart and lighter spiritual load that lasts a whole week. It feels good to be a part of something bigger than yourself and to do good with our time, treasures and talents. Next time you are thoughtful about how you are spending your time, spend it with us and then go shop or watch the game or follow your other interests.
