Not the best kept place in the world and the karaoke was a bit of a shambles, (only one microphone and it was broken, the sound quality from the music was awful too)... But... As soon as I went in I felt welcomed. The clients were lovely and despite the poor sound quality, they were having a jolly good time, dancing and laughing and chatting. The bar staff were really happy and polite. I got served immediately, (and my Coca Cola was actually fizzy, unlike The Dolphin pub up the road where I was completely ignored for ten minutes and then served flat coke haha). Really nice little pub with really lovely people.

Friendly 2 bar town centre pub just opposite the sweet shop landlord and landlady friendly live tv sports karaoke nights followed by pool table and dart board toilets are clean and quiet went today and played 4 games of pool with a diet coke and cheese and onion crisps been here 2 times before good pub for taking your mates to have a pint or a game of pool

Fairly quiet when I went in. They do show the football live. Most we paid for a pint in the town.
Really well gassed pints and from being one of the 5 people in there I was welcomed by an excellent barmaid. Pool table on a 45 degree gradient was exactly what the doctor ordered. I’d recommend anyone jobless and up for a few shandies to visit. Top boozer. Go on the UKIP!
