I don't find the reception staff rude, they have always been polite and helpful to me. Some of the doctors are very good and very thorough and the nursing and HV team are good. There do seem to be some organizational issues and the prescriptions system often seems hit and miss but over all, I can see a doctor when i need to and they seem no better or worse than anywhere else.

Reception staff are very rude, I have never come across this before. In my previous Doctor Surgery (The Gaer Medical Centre) the staff were always polite and helpful. I wish I could have stayed with my previous surgery but due to moving home, this dreadful surgery is in my catchment area and was forced to switch here.

Staff showed a complete lack of duty of care that should have been shown, rude, ignorant and liars. My dad recently went up for his prescriptions to be put in, was refused by receptionist because they said they already gave them to him (they hadn’t) then proceeded to refuse to give any medication to him saying that he verbally abused the staff (he never), he then phoned up to deal with the situation calmly and responsibly over the phone and was met with the receptionist talking over him, not allowing him to explain himself, basically telling him that it’s none of their concern how he gets his medication or what he does with it then put the phone down; this happened on serval occasions. So now he is left without medication he needs in order not to have a medical emergency. Definitely will be escalating this further than just a review!

Not ideal (Admin staff need more training in my opinion). Three visits to get registered, took all documents and in the end received a letter, you are out of the practice area. Usually surgery admin staff has a map and they an tell that your address is out of practice area. After a month of hassle, will have to go to start the process again with new surgery :)
