Had a great meal. Drinks, starters and mains all came out in good time. Was served by friendly waiter Connor who was good at engaging with us. Nothing was any trouble if we required anything. And he made our experience of eating there enjoyable. Will definitely be going regularly hopefully. Keep up the good work! 5 ️️️️️.

Our waitress Jo was brilliant! She noticed I wasn't happy at our table as the area was noisy and found us a better table in a much quieter part of the restaurant! As an autistic person, I really appreciated this as did my husband who is my carer. We went in with our son. Jo kept checking things were ok and couldn't do enough for us! She made our time there better! Thank you Jo!! The star rating is in whole down to your customer service skills!! - I hope this message gets passed on to Jo! We all had steak and chips. The steak was the best part of the main course for all of us! My hubby had the beer and beef dripping sauce with his steak and he said it was really bland, it lacked salt for a start; when I tried it, I could only taste the beer! I ordered triple cooked chips and to say I had had better elsewhere is an understatement! They tasted just like normal oven chips Pudding was much better! I had the sticky toffee pudding with custard, my hubby had the triple chocolate brownie and our son had the children's ice cream! My hubby finished both mine and our son's as neither of us could finish ours - this was on top of finishing his own pudding! Both courses were decent sizes. I work in hospitality for over 23 years and all I can say *Amazing experience* . Matt was fantastic with his customer service and confidence around customers. Brilliant Member of staff. Fishy Tales

Polite staff and helpful. Just abit pricey and a boring menu. Foodwise the chips were very thin and anemic looking wish I'd gone for the chunky chips burger was okay but nothing special. Table was clean. Wanted the Lasagne but didn't have it.

First time we've been since March, prior to the initial lockdown, and were well impressed. Tables are well spaced (most of the bigger 6 seaters were not being used) and clear 1 way system signs. Good ambience as it's not as busy and wait time much reduced. Food presentation also appears to be a step up from the last time we went. No problem going back for return visit.
